What’s the future for high street travel agents? TravelMole announces November Travel Industry Question Time
Next month’s TravelMole Travel Industry Question Time tackles the future of travel agents.
Following on from last week’s successful debate on tour operators, we turn the spotlight on the retail trade.
After the Court of Appeal decision which means that agents will not have obtain ATOLS, there may have been a collective sigh of relief from the retail trade.
But with operators led by TUI poised to hugely increase their dynamic packaging capabilities following the ruling, agents will face even more competition.
And with more customers booking online, how should high street agents respond? Just who is leading the fight in the retail revolution?
The discussion, to be moderated by travel industry journalist and commentator Jeremy Skidmore, feature a range of top speakers.
The first to be confirmed is Hotels4u.com sales and marketing director John Harding.
The event will be held on November 16 between 16.30-18.30 in central London at a venue to be confirmed.
