Who is the social media hotel King?
TripAdvisor is the hotel-related website with the most influence on social media, according to the latest report from Greenlight.
The SEO experts looked at the top 15 brands associated with hotel search and measured their performance on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube.
TripAdvisor has over 750,000 followers on Twitter, just under 267,000 Facebook fans, 1.3 million followers on Google+, 1.6 views on YouTube and 1,600 YouTube subscribers.
Lastminute.com and Hilton were in the number two and three positions, followed by Laterooms and Marriott.
Booking.com (at number 8 in the league) has more than 1 million people following its Google+ account while Trivago UK (at number 14) has the largest number of people following its Facebook page, more than 1 million.
