Wilce takes top slot at Onelink4travel
Kerry Wilce has been promoted to managing director of the UK arm of distribution and financial settlement firm Onelink4travel.
Wilce, who moves up from sales and marketing director, will also be responsible for the launch of the San Francisco-based company’s reservation and settlements services in the US later this year and in Europe in early 2006.
His career spans time as marketing director of X-tant, where he launched the portal TravelEye. He was also director of marketing services for Istel.
Wilce said: “Onelink4travel has assembled a strong array of services for travel agents and travel industry vendors. Turning these services into a cohesive and cross-supporting service set will be a formidable challenge, one I’m looking forward to undertaking.”
Onelink4travel chairman and CEO Bill Guerin said: “Kerry is a highly qualified travel industry executive with a global perspective and a rich background in marketing, technology, business development and customer service.
“Kerry will have a hugely important role as we begin our core services on both sides of the Atlantic, especially in co-ordinating the marketing activities of our three operating companies.”
