Wild boar causes Eurostar delays
Eurostar services were running on time again this morning following three-hour delays last night, caused by a train striking a wild boar on the line near Lille.
Services were suspended last night and into the early hours of the morning so the dead animal could be retrieved from the track in Quilleval.
Delays lasted for around three hours. A spokesman confirmed the boar had been killed when it was hit.
