Wilderness, wildlife add even more “wow”
Wilderness and wildlife experiences in Tempo Holidays’ 2008 Latin America programme have been expanded with new packages for Brazil’s Pantanal, Patagonia’s Valdes Peninsula and Peru’s Colca Canyon and Manu wildlife centre.
Product Manager, Nelson Fanelli said the new destinations joined the Galapagos Islands, Machu Picchu, the Amazon, Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego as Latin America “wow factor” experiences.
The eight-day Deep Inside the Pantanal (from $3369) package visits the different ecosystems of the Pantanal, Savanna Tablelands and Amazon rainforest while the four-day Manu Wildlife Centre (from $2023) features 48 km of forest trails.
The four-day Discover Arequipa and The Colca Canyon (from $788) explores the second deepest canyon in the world and the four-day Valdes Peninsula (from $427) itinerary focuses on local marine wildlife including the Southern Right Whale.
Other new products are the 18-day West Coast Adventure (from $4716) package which combines Chile, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia and the 19-day Latin Odyssey (from $4989) which combines Chile with Argentina and Brazil. These were developed as a result for demand for slower-paced, more in-depth itineraries linking just a few countries.
On the other hand, the top-selling 21-day Splendours of Latin America (from $5001) which links Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Brazil, is designed for travellers wishing to see all the highlights in the one trip.
Accommodation and tours are also packaged for Mexico, Cuba and Uruguay.
Bronze, Silver and Gold Medallion options are offered for many tours and accommodation, especially for the “Taste of…” packages in the vibrant cosmopolitan cities of Buenos Aires, Santiago and Rio de Janeiro.
The new 2008 brochure is available now.
