Winter booking trends unveiled
The Brits, the Swiss and the Austrians go to Egypt, the Belgians prefer Spain, while the Germans stay closer to home.
But when it comes to getting some winter sunshine, they all have one favourite destination in common: the Canary Islands.
TUI has produced an infographic today to show the trends, similarities and differences across its markets for the winter season, showing top holiday destinations, average length of stay and most popular time to go away.
As you can see, the Canaries topped the list of winter holiday favourites, but the French had different ideas and preferred to go further afield.
