Wizz Air announces new flights to Slovakia
Wizz Air is to launch a new service from Slovakia’s second biggest city Kosice to London Luton September 17.
The route will initially operate twice weekly and will increase to four flights a week on October 27.
Flights are already on sale.
Speaking at a press conference in Kosice, Wizz Air CEO Jozsef Varadi said: "As this year’s European Capital of Culture, Kosice is generating an inflow of tourists and history lovers from all over the world.
"Individual travelers as well as families and businesses will welcome this exciting development and contribute to job creation and tourism development in Slovakia."
