Wizz Air suspends services amid UK travel ban
Wizz Air has suspended flights from the UK to Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania and Austria on 21 and 22 December in light of UK travel bans imposed by authorities in these countries.
The airline will continue to operate flights from the UK to countries which have not imposed a ban on the arrival of UK flights and is closely monitoring developments in case of the need for further cancellations.
Affected passengers who booked on wizzair.com or the airline’s mobile app will be informed directly via email and offered the options of receiving 120% of the original fare in airline credit, a full refund or rebooking for free.
Passengers who booked via travel agencies or online travel platforms should contact the seller of the tickets for further information and refund options.
