Wizz Air to recruit hundreds more crew

Budget carrier Wizz Air has announced the biggest recruitment campaign in its history, with opportunities available across its network.

The airline is creating 1,300 new jobs over the next 12 months when it will take delivery of 21 new Airbus A320 and A321 aircraaft.

It expects to employ 4,500 staff by the end of 2018.

The airline said it plans to double its fleet to more than 160 aircraft by the end of 2024.

It is planning to hold 400 recruitment sessions for both pilots and cabin crew between now and the end of 2018 in more than 25 countries across Europe and beyond.

As part of the recruitment campaign, cabin crew open days will be held in Luton on October 9 and 17.
