Woman jumps from Princess cruise ship
An American woman who jumped from a Princess cruise ship is still missing and presumed dead in the Pacific, about 650 miles northeast of Hawaii,
Princess Cruises confirmed that closed-circuit television shows the woman purposely jumping off the Grand Princess on the third day of a 15-day cruise from San Francisco.
The ship changed course to search for her, and the Coast Guard and U.S. Navy joined in, but to no avail.
Early reports said the woman was in her 30s but it was later confirmed that she was 54.
The Grand Princess has 1,300 cabins, 17 decks, and is nearly 190 feet tall.
