Worldchoice Cruise Club sets up exclusive deals
Exclusive deals and a 2009 business development strategy for Worldchoice Cruise Club will be unveiled at the group’s first conference next week.
More than 50 cruise agents are due to attend the event at the Haycock Hotel, Wansford in Cambridgeshire on October 22.
The agenda includes presentations from 15 cruise lines; ACE’s Andy Harmer with predictions for the 2009 cruise market and the opportunities available to agents; and Andrew Dickson from the WOW Factor consultancy showing how agents can capitalise on local opportunities.
A river cruise deal will see Worldchoice Cruise Club members selling November departures on-board the four-star MS Renoir with a series of seven Paris/River Seine itineraries.
New Cruise Club manager Charlie Weller said: “This is our first foray into exclusively branded product and the members’ commission is completely inclusive with no opportunity for clients to book directly.
“It will provide members with a unique product at an attractive price that will encourage their local market to book during, what is traditionally, a quiet time for agents.â€
He added: “The conference will be more of a workshop that will help arm agents with practical information they can take back to their businesses.
“As well as our plans to develop a repackaging solution, we intend building marketing programmes and training initiatives that will capitalise on the growth of traditionally packaged cruise sales.â€
