Wyndham appoints new brand marketing VP
Wyndham Hotel Group has named Lisa Borromeo Checchio as new vice president, brand marketing.
Checcio joins Wyndham from JetBlue Airways where she helped lead JetBlue marketing and advertising strategy, including the rollout of the carrier’s premium in-flight product Mint.
She spent 11 years at JetBlue, overseeing advertising, brand communications, sponsorships, consumer promotions, and buzz programs.
She will lead Wyndham’s brand marketing strategy across all channels to build guest engagement and grow revenue.
"Lisa’s track record and passion in helping to build JetBlue into a beloved world-class brand will be invaluable to our entire organization as we work to enhance some of the most iconic and treasured brands in the hotel industry represented by nearly 7,700 hotels around the world," said Josh Lesnick, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Wyndham Hotel Group.
