Wyndham launches loyalty scheme in UK and Ireland
Wyndham Hotel Group International has expanded its TripRewards loyalty programme to the UK and Ireland.
In a programme adapted for the UK market, participating Ramada and Days Inn hotels will now offer guests 10 TripRewards points for the equivalent of every US dollar spent, plus free room upgrades and early check-in and late check-out, based on availability.
Members also receive a complimentary snack and beverage on arrival.
They may elect to earn TripRewards points or miles with Air Berlin, US Airways, American, United, Delta, Continental, Spirit or with Avis, Budget and Sixt car rental locations worldwide.
Members can also choose donate points to selected international charities including Habitat for Humanity International and The Miracle Foundation.
Sean Worker, Wyndham Hotel Group International senior vice president and managing director, international operations, said: “The combination of our guest recognition elements with the ability to earn TripRewards points or airline points will enable our travel agent and intermediary partners to better serve their frequent-traveller clients.”
