Yahoo launches Trip Planner
Yahoo! UK & Ireland has launched an interactive tool, Trip Planner www.yahoo.co.uk/trip-planner, within Yahoo! Travel.
Trip Planner uses existing Yahoo! products and services such as Flickr, Yahoo! Travel Guides and Yahoo! Maps and allows travellers to document their personal travel experiences.
It is designed for travellers looking to plan a trip, create their own customised printable travel guide or share travel experiences with other users.
Tim Frankcom, general manager of Yahoo! Travel and Shopping Europe said: “People are no longer limited to just booking tickets online, and by incorporating interactive and social media elements, we’re creating one of the most useful and dynamic travel resources available.”
