Yahoo senior vice president takes on new Thomas Cook role
Thomas Cook has made former Channel 5 chief executive Dawn Airey senior independent director.
Airey, who is search engine Yahoo’s Europe, Middle East and Africa senior vice president, replaces Carl Symon who announced his decision to leave the group in June.
Airey, who takes up her new role today, was already serving as a non-executive director of the travel firm.
She has also been appointed a member of the audit committee.
