  Gray Dawes selects Sabre as exclusive distribution partner - News & announcements

  Travel management company Gray Dawes Group has tapped Sabre as its sole global distribution platform partner. The partnership with Sabre will support the TMC’s strategic growth mission across key regions, focusing on the UK and the Netherlands as well as continued growth in North America and Australia. “We have selected Sabre because of their ability to support our operational model and international growth,” said Suzanne Horner, Gray Dawes CEO. “ Their global scale, stable technology infrastructure, and investment roadmap align with our objective to expand beyond our core markets.” Gray Dawes accesses Sabre content through YourTrip, their online corporate travel platform and booking tool, powered by Atriis. Its own online portal provides clients with complete control over their corporate travel program within a secure environment. “This partnership highlights Sabre’s capability to collaborate with and deliver integrated solutions for TMCs looking to scale both locally and globally,” said Richard Addey, Regional Director for Northern Europe and Benelux at Sabre.

  NZ based Serko acquires GetThere from Sabre - News & announcements

  New Zealand based travel teach firm Serko Limited is acquiring business travel management solution GetThere from Sabre. It is part of a new partnership between the two companies. They have inked a partnership that includes travel management development and investment cooperation. The deal sees Serko take full ownership of GetThere. Serko gets the GetThere brand and IP, team expertise, and its global customer base. It will be continue to be operated under the GetThere brand name. "Our partnership with Sabre marks a significant step in Serko's evolution,” said Darrin Grafton, CEO and co-founder of Serko. He said the acquisition will complement its existing North America operations. “Additional investments in our products and technology will support our momentum in North America and globally, benefitting partners and customers." Additionally, Serko will adopt the Sabre and Google co-innovation framework to develop new solutions for corporate travel as part of their collaboration.

  Indonesian online travel platform tiket.com has extended its long-standing partnership with Sabre Corporation  Sabre will continue to be tiket.com's preferred GDS technology partner. Sabre's global content, including NDC offers, and shopping APIs will support tiket.com's flight and travel inventory to consumers. Meanwhile, the OTA will adopt Sabre Direct Pay to support its virtual payment requirements, delivering a more secure, automated, and integrated payment process. Tiket.com will also continue to deploy Sabre's automation tools to boost cost efficiencies, including through Automated Exchanges and Automated Refunds. "Sabre has been our trusted technology partner since the very beginning, and we're delighted to be incorporating additional Sabre solutions into our technology stack," said Andi Hendrawan, Director of Transportation, tiket.com. Established 13 years ago, tiket.com is one of Indonesia's largest online travel companies, offering flight, train, ferry, bus, accommodation bookings, attractions, event ticketing, car rentals, and other travel products.   Sabre unveils new booking platform for independent travel agents - News & announcements

  Sabre Corporation has announced the development of a new booking solution, Sabre Red Launchpad, designed for new or independent travel agents.  It was developed as an extension of Sabre Red 360, with launch partner Internova Travel Group. Sabre Red Launchpad reduces training time for travel agents new to the industry. It provides an easier way for independent agents who do not currently use an aggregator to access content and capabilities Sabre offers through its digital travel marketplace. In the coming weeks, Internova will launch a co-branded version of the product, Internova SNAP, Powered by Sabre, to its thousands of travel consultants in the U.S. Sabre will launch Sabre Red Launchpad globally in the coming months. "Sabre Red Launchpad expands the Sabre Red toolkit," said Kathy Morgan, VP, Product Management, Distribution Experience, Sabre Travel Solutions. "We're giving travel agencies more choice and flexibility in how they manage their workforce.” Morgan says some travel consultants may work exclusively on Sabre Red Launchpad while others may choose to use the expanded capabilities of Sabre Red 360 over time. Like the consumer travel apps, Sabre Red Launchpad provides users with a streamlined graphical user interface (GUI) that helps them shop and book basic flight, hotel and car itineraries in a few clicks. It is compatible with NDC offers, XML content from low-cost carriers and traditional ATPCO/EDIFACT options. "To recruit talent to our industry, we need modern travel retail tools that do not require new employees to learn a new language to operate.” said Peter Vlitas, EVP, Partner Relations, Internova Travel Group. Sabre Red Launchpad co-exists alongside Sabre's existing agency booking solution, Sabre Red 360. If complex service needs arise, Sabre Red Launchpad users can transfer bookings to teammates working in Sabre Red 360. Throughout 2024, Sabre will invite more travel agencies to join Internova as part of the Sabre Red Launchpad early adopter program.
