St. Kitts Tourism Authority Teams Up with Sister Island, Nevis, to Welcome 20 UK Travel Agents Aboard for an Evening of News and Networking
The St. Kitts Tourism Authority teamed up with sister island, Nevis, to host 20 travel agents for an evening of news and networking aboard The Caversham Lady on the River Thames on 2 June 2026, in a continued drive by the twin Caribbean destinations to strengthen UK trade engagement.
The evening cruise, which set sail from Caversham Pier in Reading, saw representatives from both tourism authorities deliver destination presentations and the latest news and product updates from the two islands. Hosting for St. Kitts Tourism Authority were Chelcie Lewis, UK Sales & Marketing Consultant, and Suzy Trott, UK Trade Sales Representative, alongside Nevis Tourism Authority’s UK Trade Sales Representatives, Candice Yang and Kerrie Bartholomew.
Guests enjoyed a luxury afternoon tea as they cruised along the Thames, soaking up the river views along the way.
A prize draw was also held on board, with Kirsty Leith from Designer Travel taking home a bottle of Kittitian rum.
“We’re delighted to have welcomed our valued travel agent partners on board for such a memorable evening on the Thames, where we shared the latest news from both St. Kitts and Nevis,” said Chelcie Lewis, UK Sales & Marketing Consultant for St. Kitts Tourism Authority.
“Events like these form part of our continued strategy to strengthen trade engagement in the UK and provide agents with the tools they need to sell St. Kitts to their clients. We’re grateful to everyone who took the time to join us on the water.”
St. Kitts can be easily reached from London Gatwick via twice-weekly, direct flights with British Airways.
