Wendy Wu Tours restart China tours in May

Monday, 17 Mar, 2023 0

Wendy Wu Tours confirmed its first China tour will resume on 21 May 2023.

It says it will be the first UK tour group back to China in three years.

The news comes as the Chinese government lifted their embargo on issuing UK tourist visas.

It starts with the 16-day ‘Wonders of China’ flagship tour which is the most popular tour in the company’s 25-year history.

Wendy Wu Tours carry the largest number of tourist groups to China from the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

“We’ve been given the green light, enabling us to be the first UK tour operator back into China,” founder Wendy Wu said.

“Customers have been eagerly awaiting an opportunity to travel to China, as soon as possible.”

To meet demand, it has added additional capacity for tours throughout autumn 2023 and throughout 2024.

To celebrate China’s reopening, the May departure, from £3,540 per person, includes a ‘Partner Flies Free’ discount, when booked before 24 April 2023.
