2012: How was it for you?
Based on the latest trading statements and financial results from some travel companies, it seems that 2012 has been a tough one.
Fuel prices, high Air Passenger Duty, unprecendented natural disasters, strikes and political unrest have all taken their toll on the industry.
But, on the whole, has it really been as bad as predicted?
In our latest Mole Poll, we asked you:
So far, has 2012 turned out better for the travel industry than you had expected back in January?
It seems that for the vast majority of you, it wasn’t as bad as you feared.
91% of you said ‘yes
9% said ‘no’.
