400th Country Inn a ‘milestone’
Country Inns & Suites By Carlson(R) opened its 400th hotel, a move termed a “milestone” by company officals.
Said Steve Mogck, the brand’s executive vp:
“Over the past 19 years Country Inns & Suites evolved from a brand new concept that Carlson created from the ground up to become a brand leader in the mid-tier segment of the lodging industry.”
Country Inns now has more than 31,000 rooms in the US, Mexico, Europe, Canada and worldwide.
The hotel is 100 percent non-smoking and offers upgraded guest rooms equipped with microwaves, refrigerators, and complimentary high speed internet access. There’s also meeting space for up to 40 people.
