A cruise where you can tell the captain where to go
Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has launched a unique 15-night ‘You Choose The Next Port of Call’ cruise.
Departing from Southampton on October 10, 2015, guests on board Braemar will get to ‘tell the Captain where to go’, as they vote for the next port of call as the cruise progresses.
There will be two choices every 48 hours.
The first decision that guests will make is whether to point Braemar towards Vigo in Spain, or Leixoes in Portugal.
Choices after that encompass cities in Portugal and Spain, including Barcelona, Valencia and Palma, or Gibraltar.
The cruise line offers no guidance on how the voting for the next port of call will be conducted, and whether the captain gets the casting vote in the event of a tie.
