A majestic offer from Travelodge

The Mole always finds it very hard to resist a Travelodge news bulletin and the chain’s latest one is simply an offer no-one could refuse.

The budget brand is offering any married couples called William and Kate a free honeymoon package at any of its 450 hotels over the royal wedding weekend.

The package includes a spacious room with Hypnos bed (which comes with a royal seal from her Maj), a fish and chip supper, a bottle of bubbly and a complimentary fry up the next morning with late check out for a “lie-in” thrown in.

And before anyone starts moaning about Travelodge rooms not exactly being romantic, don’t forget the portfolio includes 15 grade II listed buildings including the Victorian-built Leamington Spa Travelodge plus a handful of seaview establishments including Eastbourne, Brighton and Torquay.

Namesake couples who are fond of the royals might like to book a London property to be in the thick of it come April 29.

To claim the free break, couples should register their details at [email protected] and send proof they are married.

One approves.
