A new GBP25m wave for Butlins
Butlins is to open a new £25 million Wave Hotel aimed at families with children aged 8-14.
The hotel, to open at the Bognor Regis Resort in spring 2012, will have a gaming room with 3D computer games, i-pod docking stations in every room and some interconnecting rooms for the first time.
Wave is the latest addition to Butlins property portfolio following the success of Ocean and Shoreline Hotels, which opened at the Bognor Regis Resort in 2009 and 2005.
"Our two existing hotels in Bognor Regis have taken almost £10million worth of business so far this year with another £1 million worth of bookings for 2012 already been made, so our decision to build another hotel at this resort was an easy one!” said Allan Lambert, head of retail sales at Bourne Leisure.
