ABTA head of communications Casia Zajac is to leave the association.
She is going at the end of April after less than two years in the post.
No formal explanation was given for her departure or what plans she has after ABTA.
Chief executive Mark Tanzer said: “Casia has brought energy and focus to the communications team at ABTA, and she has succeeded in raising the association’s public profile.
“In addition, Casia has spearheaded ABTA’s 60th anniversary campaign ’60 Years on Top of the World’.
“We are grateful for all Casia has done for ABTA, and wish her well in the future."
