ABTA invites overseas members
ABTA is extending its Travel Industry Partner Scheme to overseas travel suppliers.
The new scheme will be launched on Monday 11 November. It is open to overseas businesses such as hotels and car hire companies who do not have UK offices, but deal with UK-based ABTA members.
The International Associate Scheme will cost £200 a year. A spokesperson for ABTA told TravelMole that they had already received some queries regarding the scheme, but requests for membership would be taken on Monday, before being reviewed by the ABTA Board.
Members of the scheme will get use of the International Associate logo, discounts on ABTA services and the ABTA Convention, copies of the annual ABTA members list, email bulletins, and advertising opportunities on ABTA’s member website.
Overseas businesses interested in signing up can visit the ABTA stand (UKI 3240) at WTM or visit the dedicated area of the ABTA website.
