Accor announces dual branded property for Bangkok
Accor is launching a dual branded property in Bangkok’s Sukhumvit district comprising Mercure and ibis hotels.
Set to open on December 1, 2019, it is a collaboration with the Erawan Group.
Mercure Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 will have 201 rooms and suites, all-day dining, a rooftop swimming pool, fitness centre and meeting facilities.
The adjacent ibis Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 features 300 rooms.
"We are excited to partner with The Erawan Group to launch this dual-branded property in Bangkok. The combination of our Mercure and ibis brands ensure guests can choose between one of the world’s largest midscale brands and the most recognised economy brand," said Patrick Basset, chief operating officer, Accor Upper Southeast & Northeast Asia and the Maldives.
The property is located just a stroll away from Phrom Phong BTS Skytrain station offering easy access to Suvarnabhumi and Don Meuang international airports.
