Accor appoints new North and Central America CEO
French hospitality giant Accor has named Heather McCrory as chief executive officer for North & Central America.
Also serving as a member of the Group’s executive committee, McCrory has responsibility for 115 hotels and a workforce of more than 28,000 employees across the region.
McCory has enjoyed a 30-year career so far in hospitality and was most recently North & Central America executive vice president of operations for Accor.
In this position she had oversight of hotel operations, technology, design and technical services, rooms, and food & beverage.
She is the former chair of Tourism Toronto, and vice chair of the board of directors for the Tourism Industry Association of Canada.
She is based at Accor’s regional office in Toronto.
