Agents selling cruise can now reach a new tier of expertise following the launch of a higher level of accreditation by the Association of Cruise Experts (ACE).
The ACE Master programme will recognise when agents have used their experience and expertise on the sector to attain a minimum of 2000 points, with at least 150 points gained through offline training.
Currently the highest level of the ACE programme is the Ace Ambassador for which agents must reach 600 training points.
ACE director Flo Powell said: “We have 700 agents who have become ACE Ambassadors which is a great reflection on their work and dedication in selling cruise holidays.
"However, with more cruises being sold every year, along with greater choice of destination and the huge variety of ships and facilities, we felt it time to introduce another tier to inspire both existing and new agents to further their cruise knowledge.”
