Active Hotels signs up French hotel chain Citôtel
Active Hotels, the online reservations provider to the European hotel industry, has become an approved on-line reservation provider for large French hotel group Citôtel.
The Citôtel group has an extensive network of 141 independent hotels in prime locations across France. It is the latest high-profile French hotel group Active Hotels has signed up since targeting the French market in 2002.
Active Hotels’ head of sales Dan Smith sees the agreement as a positive indication of the company’s ability to compete effectively on the European hotel market. He said: “I believe that we will make a significant contribution to Citôtel online reservation figures. Looking forward, we will be hoping to build on the relationship we have already established to become the group’s preferred online reservation provider.”
Herve Lasbouygues, Administrator for Citôtel, said: “I am confident that working with Active Hotels will increase our online visibility and deliver more reservations. Active Hotels’ online reservation system provides a competitive and reliable service that is easy to use. Active Hotels provides our network of hotels with increased visibility and opens up an entirely new distribution channel for our rooms.”
