Advantage agents get no-frills access
Advantage’s business travel agents will be able to compare and book no-frills flights alongside full service scheduled airlines on a single screen following a deal with Dolphin Dynamics.
Advantage Focus Group, the business travel arm of the consortium, has reached a deal with Dolphin to integrate its FlightScanner Enterprise product into Advantage’s Sabre platform, which it began the switch to this summer. Integration of the two products will start towards the end of Quarter 1 next year.
FlightScanner Enterprise can be integrated with the Turbo Sabre platform using an XML interface to enable the 88 members of the Advantage Focus Group to compare published, net and no-frills flights on one screen.
When a booking is made on an airline website, the data is still captured by FlightScanner Enterprise and the passengers and booking information fed back into the GDS.
Advantage Business Travel Focus Group member agencies make 2.2 million GDS bookings a year.
