Advantage conference: Suppliers on a blacklist
Advantage is putting some suppliers on a blacklist.
Outlining the changes being made by the consortium, managing director Julia Lo Bue-Said revealed it was taking a hard line with some companies.
"It is not about black-listing companies, well it is really," she said.
"We will not work with everyone – we are not a walkover."
Advantage has over 200 commercial agreements with partners, but expects those relationships to change as it contracts more product directly.
"Our partnerships are key. We’re not interested in one-night stands, it’s about the long term."
