Advantage members receive dividend for third year

Tuesday, 02 Sep, 2014 0

Advantage has made a dividend payment to all members for the third consecutive year.  The payment, for the financial year 2012-2013, is £2.50 per share, an increase of 25% on the 2011-2012 dividend.

Advantage said the payment was equivalent to a 25% reduction in the standard membership fee which, it claimed, was ‘a healthy return on investment’.

Managing director Julia Lo Bue-Said said: "Unlike other consortia, Advantage is wholly owned by its members and all its members own shares.

"In a year which saw considerable change within the organisation, it is encouraging that we achieved a strong enough profit, up 27% on the previous year, to enable us to make a dividend payment to members."
