Advantage reports growth in luxury specialist programme
Advantage Travel Centres claims it is on track for 15% membership growth in the first year of its luxury specialist programme.
The programme, launched in September 2007, was set up to help agents who needed commercial and marketing support in the luxury market.
Advantage currently has 46 member companies and over 70 branches accredited with the programme, and claims early reports show members have increased bookings.
“Advantage has invested considerably in the programme and will continue to do so this year,” said Lucy Conboy, Advantage business development manager.
“Members benefit from a personalised service with bespoke marketing and commercial support including local PR activity, affinity marketing, e-marketing, monthly product promotions, destination training with participating suppliers and tourist boards plus networking evenings and luxury consumables.”
