Advantage seeks venue for 2009 conference
Advantage Travel Centres has issued an appeal to tourist boards, hotel groups and venues who might be interested in hosting its 2009 conference.
It says a survey of its members found the majority preferred a destination within two to four hours travelling distance to the UK or to stay within the UK.
Sales and marketing director Colin O’Neill said: “Essentially we are looking for a partner or partners who have an easily accessible venue, meeting space to cater for over 500 delegates including facilities to hold workshops and speed dating event, accommodation for our delegates and access to venues for social activities and events.
The event is scheduled to take place over two days in late September or October 2009.
