Adventure World grows small group journeys

Reaction from consumers has led Adventure World to expand its range of small group holidays in Asia by including Bhutan in its program for the first time and increasing choice in India, Vietnam and Borneo.

Marketing manager Emi Weir said that the Small Group Journeys program was designed for a maximum of 15 people, but generally with groups of 10 or so people being escorted from Australia. All accommodation is four to five star hotels, including the popular heritage palaces.

She added, “We are offering the company’s premium travellers a ready-made touring solution to some of Adventure World’s most sought after destinations with the best available escorts and guides.”

The new 10-night Spirit of Bhutan package is a typical itinerary with the $3297 price tag including accommodation, sightseeing and entrance fees, transport, visa, airport transfers and guide.

Other tours in the program include the 16-night Southern Scents tour of India’s Kerala region, the nine-night Classic China tour of Beijing, Xian, Shanghai and Zhujiajiao and the 19-night Heritage Tour of Rajasthan including key heritage cities and stays in historic palaces.
