Private boat charters in the Caribbean, floatplanes over the Alaskan fjords and speed boating through the Finnish archipelagos are among new ‘five-star’ shore excursions offered by Norwegian Cruise Line

The Ultimate Touring collection is for private groups of two to 18 people.

UK general manager Stephen Park said: “Ultimate Touring enables guests to enjoy touring the ports of call in privacy as a couple, or with a group of friends or family.

“We expect these excursions to especially appeal to guests staying in our luxurious suites and villas, who put great value on privacy and exclusivity.”

Other options include overnight to Cairo including a Son et Lumiere at the Giza Plateau followed by a sail along the Nile; Tuscany on Horseback; and yacht racing in Antigua.
