An investigation has been launched after an Aer Lingus flight to Boston was forced to return to Dublin Airport after a number of crew members fell ill.
According to a report in the Irish Times, the Captain of flight EI-139 decided to turn around and fly back to Dubin just over two hours into the flight when cabin crew members said they felt unwell.
The flight, with 280 passengers on board, landed just before 9pm on Sunday evening and was met by medical officers.
Passengers were found hotels overnight and are due to fly to Boston today (Monday).
