The new transatlantic route will commence with three weekly flights from September 1, 2017.
Aer Lingus will use 266-seater A330-200 aircraft on the route.
With the new route Aer Lingus will become the 108th different carrier at MIA, the most of any airport in the US.
"Miami-Dade County looks forward to welcoming Aer Lingus and its passengers to our community. Congratulations to Aer Lingus and to MIA, for landing another key international route and for adding to its record number of 107 airlines," said Miami-Dade County mayor Carlos A. Gimenez.
The airline currently serves nine US cities including Boston, New York, Newark, Chicago and Orlando.
