Affordable Car Hire appoints account manager for Scotland
Affordable Car Hire is planning to ramp up its presence in Scotland with the appointment of Lee Foster as account manager.
Based in Glasgow, Foster will be responsible for forging relationships with the Scottish travel trade community, building brand awareness of the Affordable Car Hire and AffordableXtras brands and products, and ensuring there’s a representative in the local area to assist.
Foster’s travel experience comes from his time at tour operator Collette where he was head of UK business development for two years and district sales manager, Northern UK, Scotland and Ireland for six-and-a-half years.
His roles at Collette included managing the sales teams, maintaining client relationships and contract negotiation.
Foster is also the founder of Revitalise Connecting People, a networking event company which on a twice-monthly basis holds business networking events at Hamilton Race Course and Fenwick, Glasgow.
He reports into Stephen Joyner, head of sales for Affordable Car Hire.
Joyner said: "Appointing Lee to the role of account manager in Scotland reinforces our commitment to working closer with the Scottish travel trade, and building some long-lasting relationships."
