Agency celebrates reaching historic milestone
Long-established long-haul flight specialist Southall Travel has exceeded £400 million turnover for the first time in its 28 year history.
The Middlesex-based business saw an 18% rise in annual turnover to £419 million in the 12 months to March.
Managing director Kuljinder Bahia said: "I am extremely pleased with our achievement last year.
"All the brands are doing well and I am thankful for our strong relationships with our suppliers and to our customers who book with us time and time again.
"In particular, our Holiday Team brand working in the B2B market has shown strong results."
He said the group, which has historically been heavily focused on the Middle East and Asia market, had increased investment in consumer marketing and will continue to do so.
"Looking forward our growth focus is on North American destinations and this will be driven by expanded destination marketing," added Bahia.
