Agent dynamic packaging soars through lowcostbeds.com

A new agents-facing website has led to a claimed 350% rise in trade sales in January for online dynamic packaging firm lowcostbeds.com.

The website was launched in December with extra functions including allowing agents to set their own selling price and see either net or gross prices.

Around 70% of lowcostbeds.com’s sales come through the trade and January was hailed as busiest month since the company was established by CEO Paul Evans in 2004.

The number of destinations covered has risen by 30% in the last year with Florida, the Caribbean, Gambia, Goa and Mexico, Croatia and Slovenia added.

Sales director John Briggs said: “The figures are a testament to the quality and functionality of our new website, lowcostbedsagents.com, and a reflection of just how many independent agents are turning to this site to find the best deals to compete in the dynamic packaging sector.

“And as more agents embrace dynamic packaging, we can only expect our influence and imprint on the market to grow as we continue to increase our trade distribution.

“Combined with our aggressive expansion plans into emerging markets we fully expect sales for 2007 to easily outstrip last year very soon.”
