Tourism Australia’s annual travel agent training event is to be held Down Under for the first time.

The Corrobore Down Under is to be held in Adelaide on November 24-28 with agents participating in a range of 13 pre-event fam trips around Australia.

About 200 Aussie Specialist Agents from the UK and Ireland are expected to participate at a cost of £230 including flights, 12-nights accommodation and attendance at the Corroboree training workshops.

Tourism Australia manager partnership development Amy Sullivan said: “Corroboree Down Under promises to be an excellent training event and we’re delighted it is being held in Australia.

“We recognise the value of investing in training and the importance of getting agents down to Australia to experience the destination they are selling first-hand. Corroboree Down Under brings these two elements together and the Aussie Specialists that attend will benefit greatly from the event.”

To register, agents must be a fully qualified Aussie Specialist. To enrol in the Aussie Specialist Programme or to register for Corroboree Down Under agents should visit www.specialist.australia.com. All registrations must be made on the website by September 1.
