Agents given chance to win fam trip to Thailand
Gold Medial has teamed up with Thailand Tourism and Qatar Airways to offer agents the chance to win one of 10 places on a fam trip to Thailand.
With sales to Thailand up by over 16% year on year, Gold Medal said it was committed to ensuring as many agents as possible can experience the destination first hand.
In June 2018, it will take a group of agents to visit its beach resorts, see the boxing traditions of Muay Thai, and enjoy animal encounter experiences to enhance their knowledge of the destination.
Nick Hughes, sales director of Gold Medal parent dnata Travel B2B Europe, said: "Training has always been a key aspect of Gold Medal’s partnership with travel agents to ensure they are benefitting from our knowledge with their own customers.
"First-hand experience of products is key to this to allow agents to develop their expertise and ultimately improve sales.
"We hope that our latest incentive helps keep our agents engaged with the Thailand products they sell, excited about the opportunities on offer to them and on top of the latest information."
To win a place on the trip, agents need to make a new package booking to Thailand that includes Qatar Airways flights between before March 31.
The top 10 sellers overall will win a place on the FAM.
In addition, the top seller of Thailand and Qatar Airways packages with Gold Medal each month in 2018 will win £50 Farebank Rewards.
