Agents Snap Up Combi Search System From TelMe Farebase
AGENTS SNAP UP COMBI SEARCH SYSTEM FROM TELME FAREBASE Travel technology e-commerce and air fares distribution specialists, TelMe Farebase is reporting a good take up from agents of its newly launched Combi Search product. This new Combi Search system allows the agent to quickly and easily select a predetermined level of remuneration, on any given low cost flight, and this enhanced price is then shown on the agent’s web site. The system automatically books the customer’s chosen flight with the low cost carrier, at the lower price, utilising the agent’s credit card. The enhanced price is charged to the booker’s credit card which is simultaneously paid into the agent’s bank account. All the transactions are completed without the customer having to leave the agent’s web site for the booking. Fare searches can simultaneously be carried out for published, consolidated and/or no frills airlines including, Air Southwest, BasiqAir, BmiBaby, EasyJet, FlyBe, Emerald Air, Hapag Lloyd, Ryanair and Virgin Express – more are being added daily. The search can be achieved on one screen without the need to access both systems. Peter Muller, Managing Director of TelMe Farebase, commented, “Low cost carriers have made big inroads into the marketplace and it is important for agents to be able to harness this impact for their own benefit. Agents have been very quick to realise that Combi Search offers them a good opportunity to control their destiny regardless of dictates from third party suppliers”. The company is to commission several case studies with agents to illustrate the Return On Investment (ROI) for agents utilising its new Combi Search Product.
