Air Berlin adds ninth German city from UK
Munich will become the ninth German destination served from the UK by Air Berlin.
The German low cost carrier is to run twice daily weekday flights and daily returns on Saturdays and Sundays from Stansted.
The service starts on November 5 with fares leading in at £24 one-way including taxes.
UK and Ireland country manager Titus Johnson said: “Munich is the ninth Air Berlin direct German destination from the United Kingdom and reinforces our position as the number 1 ‘value added’ choice for travel to Germany.
“This is an important new route which many of our customers have been waiting for.”
Flights depart from Stansted at 08:20 and 19:15 from Monday to Friday. On Saturday flights for Munich depart at 08:20 and on Sunday at 19:15.
