Air India shifting London – Bengaluru flights to Heathrow
Flag carrier Air India is shifting its Bengaluru-London flights from Gatwick to Heathrow.
The change is effective from October 27, 2024 and will see an increase in the number of weekly flights.
The current five Bengaluru flights a week to and from London Gatwick will increase to a daily service from Heathrow.
The route will be flown on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft with 18 flat-bed Business Class seats and 238 in Economy Class.
Air India already offers flights to London Heathrow from its Delhi and Mumbai hubs.
Air India’s other London Gatwick routes to Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Goa, and Kochi will continue.
Bookings for the new service are now open on Air India’s website and app.
