Air NZ signs global partnership with STA Travel

STA Travel and Air New Zealand have signed a global partnership to generate sales in key markets in Asia Pacific, North America and the UK.
 
It is a deepening of a ‘long standing relationship’ between the companies, said Air NZ chief sales and commercial officer Cam Wallace.
 
"Air New Zealand is very excited to sign this three-year deal with STA Travel which supports our commitment to building strategic partnerships," Wallace said.
 
"This agreement presents an opportunity to further develop out new markets such s Vietnam, Singapore and Argentina while also strengthening existing inbound travel to New Zealand and Australia from key markets."
 
The agreement also involves strategic collaboration with tourism boards to enhance engagement with the youth and student travel market.
 
STA Travel’s John McCoach said: "This new global strategic partnership will a value to our target market of young travellers seeking their next adventure to any of Air new Zealand’s number of destinations.
