Air Transat launches trade booking portal
Air Transat has launched a trade booking portal for the UK, promising fare parity with online fares and a bigger booking window, allowing agents to book 18 months ahead.
Commercial Director Adrian Keating said: "The launch of our new trade portal diversifies our distribution, enabling us to offer the travel trade more choice in how they want to work with us. The portal will also deliver cost savings that we can then reinvest into our commercial agreements."
He told TravelMole the reduction in quarantine to five days for returning travellers who take a test that proves negative was a ‘very welcome move’ to getting people flying again, including ‘business travel, which is so important to so many across the world’.
