AirAsia exploring air taxi services
Budget carrier AirAsia is collaborating with UK-based Skyports Ltd to develop sites for flying taxi terminals.
AirAsia parent Capital A Bhd signed an agreement with Skyports to scout locations for eVTOL stations, also known as vertiports.
They will initially look at potential facilities for Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.
AirAsia has an interest in developing urban mobility networks.
It entered into a non-binding leasing agreement with lessor Avolon for about 100 flying taxis
