AirAsia ride-hailing launch in Singapore this summer
Ride-hailing service AirAsia Ride will enter the Singapore market this summer.
Parent Capital A says it is in the process of obtaining a licence to operate in Singapore.
It expects to begin operations in June.
Singapore becomes its fourth ride-hailing market after Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
CEO Tony Fernandes says it has about 400 full-time drivers.
After Singapore, Fernandes says the Philippines is next on the radar.
